We started off by finding the right mics to use for our instruments, we used mainly SM58s which i think is a good mic for setting up against an amp for recording. We got our song together and got all our parts ready to record. we have recorded the guitar and bass, with vocals needing a retake.
Still to go into the recording process is a lead guitar, slide guitar and drum box which hopefully will be in the track within the next week. We recorded Live aswell because we agreed it would give a better feel to the type of song were doing, Soul singing, beefy bass riffs and distorted funk guitar riffs, bass in standard and guitar in drop d, theres a good mix between the two and vocals.
